Travel to Russia : Karelia - River rafting in Russia North

Karelian rafting rivers are not like those in mountains with rapids along the whole run. Here, rapids go in combination with placid water and lakes. And this gives plentiful opportunities for fishing, swimming, wild life observing and hiking in the forest (rivers usually flow through the forest terrain). Water is relatively warm (June-July average temperature: +18-20 C, up to +24C, August: +16-18 C), which is why there is no need to use floating suites.
